WHAT WE DO
For the last decade we've worked at communicating the importance of inner development and creating spaces for it to unfold. Our journey has sparked the creation of numerous entities, predominantly non-profit, such as youth camps, conferences, think tanks, learning labs, retreats, gatherings, digital platforms, and intentional living and working communities. These initiatives, detailed below, converge on a singular vision: to bolster our collective ability to thoughtfully craft a sustainable, conscious society for the benefit of coming generations.
Currently, our focus is on nurturing these existing ventures, harmonizing their varied pursuits while enriching our theoretical and change-driven frameworks. We are not seeking new projects at this time, nor do we offer financial support or grants.
Should our mission resonate with you, we welcome your involvement. Engaging with our initiatives offers a pathway to participate actively in shaping a thoughtful, sustainable future.
OUR ARENAS
The Foundation has crafted various spaces dedicated to fostering exploration, dialogue, and transformative lifelong learning. Among these, the island of Ekskäret, Emerge Lakefront Project and Klustret Ekskäret stand out as key arenas in Stockholm. These venues are designed not only as places for individual and collective exploration but also as hubs where networks converge, offering rich opportunities for connection and collaborative inquiry.
OUR INITIATIVES
The Foundation is committed to acting as a catalyst for social change, actively participating in the co-creation of initiatives that foster conscious development. Our approach emphasizes stimulating individual inner growth and promoting lifelong learning. We achieve this through our diverse initiatives, working in close collaboration with partners from various sectors, including industry, non-profit organizations, and academia. OUR COLLABORATIONS
We are also working with ‘Cohere+’, a research and education project co-funded by the European Union, in partnership with: The Hague Center (Netherlands), the Institute for Integral Studies (Germany), Emerge (Germany), and the Ekskäret Foundation (Sweden).
The purpose of this 3-year project is to uplevel the collective capacities of European change agents and learn together how to transform ‘metacrisis’, moving together towards a regenerative, cohesive, and healthy Europe. Our focus is on the field of ‘transformational’ change agents in Europe: those who can be identified as taking whole-systems, integrative approaches towards paradigmatic societal transformation. Cohere+ combines research, events, technology development, and educational offerings in order to map the European ‘transformational change’ field, engage with agents to build community and coherence within the field, and develop the collective capacities of change agents across Europe to co-create regenerative systems and societies.
