Recycling opportunities in the archipelago are somewhat limited. We collect and put items and parts in the recycling room, which the care taker then empties when necessary.

The different items we recycle :

• Transparent glass

• Coloured glass

• Paper packaging (like milk packages). Rinse and fold before recycling.

• Plastic bottles and packages (hard plastic, like ketchup package, No soft plastic, it goes in the general waste.) Rinse before recycling. 

• Deposit bottles and cans

• Metal. Rinse before recycling. 

• Batteries

• Lightbulbs

• Technical waste

You find a box or a bag for every recycle part in the recycle room. The room is located downstairs on the back of the main house. 

Put all paper packages and cardboard that comes from the Menigo delivery in the ​​wire cage outside the cleaning entrance. The care taker will transport this cage to the pier. 

Put gray boxes that the vegetables, and more, are delivered in, in another wire cage outside the cleaning entrance. The care taker will transport this cage to the pier. 

Waste/garbage
Soft plastic, paper and other general waste you cannot recycle, you put in garbage bags and take down to the big grey garbage container on the pier.

The garbage container on the pier are emptied these weeks during 2025: 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 46, 50

Tuesdays are the planned day for emptying but it depends on the weather.
