In this section you will find highlights from the start of the foundation in 2009 until 2023. The highlights represents some of the important milestones, events and initiative that the foundation has initiated during the years.

2009

2009 was the first year of operation for the foundation. Preparations had been done during 2008 and after the foundation was formally registered in January 2009 the practical works around the construction of the facilities on the Ekskäret island and preparations for the first prototype youth camp that was held in rented facilities at another island during the summer of 2009.

2010

During the winter and spring of 2010 the construction works on our new facility at the Ekskäret island continued. We were lucky to have a cold winter so a lot of building materials could be transported on small lorries over the ice. During the summer we had the first youth camps on the island.
